Reader favorite rockstar romance novels you’ll love

posted in: Rockstar Romance Novels | 6

For a while now, I’ve been informally asking my newsletter subscribers to tell me their very favorite rock star romance novel. Sometimes they’ll give me more than one because they can’t narrow it down (I completely understand). But I’ve been collecting their answers so I could share them here.

I’ll probably continue sharing this list on a semi-annual basis!

Here they are, starting with the books that got the most votes. One last thing: my bestselling book is also in that list, and I’m not surprised, considering it was my readers being polled…meaning I won’t let it go to my head. 😉

TALON, Carian Cole

Romance book cover with man and woman: Talon by Carian Cole

Readers told me they LOVE Carian Cole’s rocker books–Talon was a particular favorite, but readers also mentioned the Ashes & Embers series as a whole (and also the book Storm in that series), as well as her book No Tomorrow. So if you haven’t read any of her books, you have some recommendations for where to start!

DANGEROUS ROCK, Crystal Kaswell

Not only did several readers name this book as a favorite, but they also loved Crystal Kaswell’s entire Dangerous Noise series. They also loved her Sinful Serenade series.

CAKE, J. Bengtsson

The entire Cake series is loved by many readers.

BULLET, Jade C. Jamison

Book cover with man: Bullet by Jade C. Jamison

Again, bear in mind these are MY readers who were polled, but the entire Bullet series was a favorite. One reader also said she loved the Tangled Web series as well.

DIRTY LIKE ME, Jaine Diamond

More than one reader loved the entire Dirty series.

PLAY, Kylie Scott

Readers loved her entire Stage Dive series, and one reader mentioned that Deep was a fave!

HOW TO KILL A ROCK STAR, Tiffanie DeBartolo

I wasn’t surprised that several readers named this one, considering it was one of the earlier rocker romances written!

MORE READER FAVES

The rest of these books had fewer votes, but I wanted to include them so you can add them to your TBR! I hope you find a new favorite (or two…or three!).

How many of these books have you read?

Have you told me your favorite yet? If not, you can either leave a comment below or use the CONTACT ME button on this page to let me know!

Hello! A friend of mine told me about your page and thinks my books would be a great option to include. I’m an author of 1970s based rock and roll romances. My last book, ‘Flipping the Record’ was released in September 2023 and was an editor’s choice with Booklife from Publisher’s Weekly.

In 1976, Cassandra Taylor is paying her dues as a session musician when she meets rockstar Jeff Kingston. Immersed in the alluring world of rock-n-roll, their connection flourishes, only to be marred by the dark forces of the music industry and Cass is reduced to being a casualty of his stardom. Years later, after carving out a successful songwriting career, Jeff returns, seeking a second chance. On the verge of finally having the career and relationship she’s always wanted, the music industry demons infiltrate again. She faces the choice of either embracing the love she craves or risking the loss of the only man who’s ever been able to harmonize with her beyond the music.

All my books info can be found on my website included below. I’m also on Instagram (@heatherjbennett_official) and Facebook (heatherjbennettnovelist).

Looking forward to following your page! Thanks!

      Hi, Heather!

Nice to meet you. I’d be happy to share your work with my readers–they are hungry for rock star romance! Usually, I only share books that meet the following criteria:

      1) New release (within the last 90 days-any price point)
      2) 99 cents (sale or regular price)
      3) free (whether perma-free or just a temporary sale)

All that said…I would love to feature one of your books, even if it doesn’t meet the above criteria. Please let me know which one of your books you’d like for me to share (I’ll be able to share it either this month or next). And, by all means, any time you have a new release or sale, please reach out to me.

      Thanks for connecting!

Oh…but I can add your books to my yearly lists. I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. I’ll let you know when those pages are updated. But, as I mentioned in my earlier comment, if you want reader eyes on your books, my weekly Rockstar Romance Roundup is the place to be!

      Last update:

I added your books to my 2019 and 2020 pages (under November and April respectively). I stopped compiling these lists in 2021, so I wasn’t able to add your newest book.
